It’s one thing to tweet, facebook each other and it’s another to SEE each other. I met Nimz and Meech in Encino!!! (Home of the Jacksons!) Then later a german/korean/mexican fusion bar with Derrick (from up north!), Brenton, Anna, Joseph, Krystle and Julian.
Now I’m at my parents house. Kay just called and it prompted me to try to look for a run we can do while we’re in New York. Guess what “run” is going to be happening that weekend! The friggin NEW YORK CITY MARATHON. Not even the half! The full 26.5 miler !!!
They do have a 5 miler but I don’t think we’ll make it which sucks.. BOO! Because it starts at 8:30 on the Saturday we land and they don’t have registration day pickup. (You have to pick up the packets the Friday and Thursday prior when we’ll be in CA).
Maybe Dean and I will try to run on our own in central park. Gotta start getting serious about training. Between work and school and all the sitting down I do, I find myself being tired all the time even though I get enough sleep! and I’m having that “shrinking” pants problem (must be the washer).
